Win €1000 by sharing how you use the Vanlifezone Map

Show us how you use the new Vanlifezone map for a chance to win €1,000!

We want to see how the map is being used in the real world. Maybe you use it to plan the next part of a trip, check a restriction, add a useful place, update information or simply work out where to go next. We want to see how it actually fits into your travels.

We are a small, independent and fully bootstrapped team. Instead of putting our small marketing budget into a conventional advertising campaign, we would much rather give it back to the community, especially the legends who use Vanlifezone, contribute to it and help make it better.

Your entry does not need to feel like an ad. It can be creative, practical, funny, cinematic, simple, educational or completely spontaneous. What matters is that the map is genuinely part of the story.

You might show how you found a place, planned a route, checked a warning or protected area, added a location, updated information or used the map in another useful way while traveling.

We built the new Vanlifezone map to be about much more than just finding a campsite. It brings together places, practical services, community updates, warnings, restrictions and information that can make life on the road easier, safer and more respectful.

The map becomes truly useful when it is shaped by the people who use it. The people traveling, exploring and dealing with changing conditions every day often have the most valuable context to share.

That is what this challenge is about. We want to see how the map fits into your own travels and give more people a reason to explore it, use it and contribute to it.

The guaranteed prize for the best post or video is €1,000. We may also expand the prize pool with additional cash prizes, products or further winners if we manage to get other camping or outdoor brands on board as partners. Any additions will be announced through our official channels before the relevant winners are selected.

Whatever happens, the €1,000 prize is guaranteed and will not be reduced.

The challenge opens on 31 August 2026 at 00:00 CET (Vienna time) and closes on 31 October 2026 at 23:59 CET.

This is a judged creator challenge, not a random draw. Five independent jury members will review every eligible entry. Each juror scores every entry from 1 to 10 across six criteria:

You do not need a huge audience to have a real chance. Strong ideas, useful stories and a genuine map experience matter most. Tags, collaboration invites, reposts, follows, likes or any interaction from Vanlifezone do not improve an entry's score.

The challenge is open to people aged 16 and above worldwide wherever participation is lawful.

If you are 16 or 17, a parent or legal guardian must complete the guardian declaration in the same entry form. You also need a Vanlifezone account and your entry must remain public and viewable until the winner has been verified. You can submit more than one entry as long as each one is materially different and follows the Competition Terms.

We are proud of the new map, but we are still building, learning and improving it every single day! If you find a bug, notice outdated information, have a feature request or simply think something could work better, please tell us through this feedback form. Honest feedback is one of the most useful things you can give us. It helps make the map better for everyone traveling after you.
